Chocolate coca cola cake

Chocolates are loved by young and old alike . It's a delightful feeling to make the chocolate roll all over in your mouth and feel the soft creamy chocolatey taste . Chocolates are such delightfully sinful indulgences that  no one can just stop at one
        I made these chocolate cakes for on various occasions like to celebrate my promotion , my birthday or my parents anniversary  . Though they were not frosted or iced with heavy cream , each of the cakes were delicious .

CHOCOLATE COCA COLA CAKE

INGREDIENTS
Refined flour ( Maida) _ 2cups
Banana _1
Sugar powdered 5 _ 6 tbsp
Coke / pepsi(I used coke) as needed to make the batter
Cocoa powder 5Tbsp
Coffee powder pinch
Baking powder 2tsp
Baking soda 1tsp
Dry fruits  _ optional
METHOD
Cream  banana  and  sugar till light and fluffy
Sift maida , baking powder ,baking soda , Cocoa and coffee powder
Mix dry and wet ingredients and mix lightly
Add dry fruits if using( I have used)
Add coke and mix lightly to form a smooth batter
Pour batter into greased cake dish & bake in preheated oven at 150deg for 60 min or t till  toothpick comes out clean
      CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH  JAM SAUCE
Note : I have used the Malai Cake recipe  (Given  in  the blog earlier)  to make the   Chocolate  Cake With Jam Sauce
I have added Cocoa and coffee powder in the batter .
FOR THE JAM SAUCE
Mix some jam(I have used mixed fruit  jam) and water in a bowl ( Should be pouring consistency , but not too thin )
Prick the cake with a fork . Be careful not to be too harsh on the cake or you will damage it 😜
Pour the jam sauce on the cake with a spoon

                CHOCOLATE RING CAKE
 This was one of the Cakes I had baked for  my late parents '  on their anniversary .  did my frost  the  cake   . Instead ,  decorated it with   chocolates and gems as they were both  extremely fond of chocolates .
        My mother would always keep chocolates in her fridge . My father would sometimes sneak chocolates from the fridge 😂 . If I caught him red handed , he would ask me not to tell Mom .I would agree only if he gave some of it . So he had no other option but to fall into my trap and  part with his booty 😂 . I would then put the chocolate in his mouth and he would chukkle like a baby . I will always cherish these fond memories my ❤️ .
INGREDIENTS NEEDED
Refined flour/ whole wheat flour'_ 1.5 cups
Cocoa powder.    _.  1/4 cup
Baking powder.  _ 1 tsp
Baking soda.      _ 1/2 tsp
Sugar powdered_ 3/4 _ 1 cup
Oil melted butter _ 1/3 cup
Vanilla essence
Dry fruits
Milk to make the batter
I made the batter in the blender
Poured into greased and lined cake dish
Baked in Preheated oven at 180° celcius for 35 _ 40 minutes or  till done

Marble Cake(Star Cake) / Zebra(Ring Cake)

I always enjoy baking a marble/ zebra cake as I can experiment with the flavors. Of course also for the mystery of the  marble effect which unfolds only when the cake comes out of the oven and is sliced. The design on the star cake was a totally unexpected one, which I could not recreate again, though there has been no compromise on the taste and texture.          I have treated my colleagues to the zebra cake and it had been highly appreciated.
