Bowl cake / mug cake

MUG CAKE
This is an instant cake that can be made in the microwave in 2 minutes to satisfy your sudden craving for something sweet after lunch or dinner 😊 . The batter can be made in the coffee mug or bowls  itself . It doesn't need to be demoulded as the finished cake is eaten from the mug or bowl in which the batter is made and baked  .

Recipes for both are same except for minor variations . I have used both cocoa and coffee powder for the mug cake ,whereas in the bowl cake only see bit of coffee is used . The cup cake is made of atta whereas Suji is used to make the bowl cake
   Another difference was that I made the batter for the cup cakes in the coffee cup itself as I needed only one cup
 . As I had to make 4_6 bowl cakes , the batter of the bowl cake was made in a separate bowl and then poured into individual bowls and baked in the microwave
    No hassle of demoulding the cakes . They can be eaten straight out of the mug / bowl in which they are baked .
INGREDIENTS FOR THE MUG CAKE

Atta  4 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
5 stat chocolate _ 1 small piece
Baking soda pinch
Baking powder pinch
Cocoa powder 1 tsp
Coffee powder 1/4 tsp
Oil/ melted butter/ malai _ 1 tsp
Chocolate sauce
Milk
Make a batter in a coffee cup
Put in a small piece of chocolate of your
Put some chocolate sauce
Microwave  for 2 minutes till done
Can add dry fruits
BOWL CAKES
Suji 1cup
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Sugar 3/4 cup
Melted Butter/ oil/ malai _ 2 tsp
Vanilla essence
Dry fruits
Make batter in a bowl
Pour into few microwave safe bowls
Bake for 2_3 minutes till done
BOWL CAKES 👆
Mug cake_ mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, Cocoa powder in a mug👆
Add malai / oil/ butter 👆
Add milk 👆
Put in a piece of chocolate and some chocolate sauce 👆
Microwave for 2 minutes 👆

Microwave mayonnaise mug cake

MICROWAVE MAYONNAISE MUG CAKE When I saw the recipes of mayonnaise cake/ cupcakes/ mug cakes on mobile , I was shell shocked . Never had heard of mayo in Cakes . Then I browsed through more recipes n also read the comments section . I was surprised that it's been done since the world war when commodities like eggs and milk were rationed . The mayo substituted for these . I wanted to bake this cake . But the hitch was mayo . First issue was would eggless mayo work for the recipe . The second problem was the taste . I wonderered if it would taste of mayo ..To make it or not to make it . Finally I decided to make a mug cake as a trial cake . if things didn't work out , there would be a small amount of wastage that would be pardonable . The cake  didn't have the  taste of mayo In it .
