Lockdown 4 . Today is 50th day of the Corona lockdown . The world is going through a crisis . A little virus is strong enough to lock everyone indoors. 'Prevention is better than cure' . Stay indoor. Stay safe π.

Today I have made these extremely easy but delicious 'No yeast , No frying , No fermentation ' DONUTS . I have rolled them in a mixture of powdered sugar and homemade cinnamon powder ( made by grating a stick of cinnamon ( dalchini) with my cheese grater. Freshly ground cinnamon powder smells devine .Here goes the recipe
Make a thick batter with the following ingredients
Multigrain flour/Whole wheat flour/ Flour _1.5 cups
Baking powder 1tsp
Baking soda 1/2tsp
Banana _ 1 ripe
Vanilla custard powder 1tsp
Vanilla essence 1/4 tsp
Sugar (powdered) 2tbsp
Butter 1tsp
Mash the banana
Add sugar and essence and beat
Add the other ingredients and make a batter
Grease paniyarram pan
Pour 1tbsp of batter in each cavity
Cook both sides till donuts are golden brown and cooked through and through .
Topping/Glazing
You can do any glazing like chocolate or lemon . But I chose to roll them in cinnamon sugar.
Spread 2_ 3tbsp powdered sugar on a flat plate
Mix 1tsp cinnamon powder
Roll donuts in it
Enjoy ππ
