MAWA CAKE
It's my husband's birthday today (As we prefer no cream cakes , I made this delicious cake )
DRY INGREDIENTS
Flour. _. 2 cups
Baking powder. 1tsp
Baking soda. 1/2 tsp
Sieve and keep aside
WET INGREDIENTS
Sugar powdered. 1cup
Malai. 3/4 cup
Mawa (khoya). 3/4 _ 1 cup
Cardamom powder
Dry fruits
Milk to make the batter
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes
Grease and line the bottom of the cake dish
Cream together malai and sugar till light and fluffy
Add Mawa and mix well
Add in the flour in batches
Mix using cut and fold method
Add cardamom powder and mix
Use milk to make the batter
Add 3/4 th of the dry fruits and mix
Pour batter into prepared cake dish
Sprinkle rest of the reserved dry fruits
Bake for 40 _45 minutes or until done
Cool the cake and demould
Batter is ready 👆
